Sale is open to the public July 24-31 (closed Sunday, July 25) Hours: July 24 - noon - 5 pm June 26-28 10 am - 7 pm June 29-31 - noon - 5 pm The Friends sponsor ongoing sale of books and media in their store located near the entrance of the Library. Hardcover and paperback books, movies, books on tape, and selected gift items are for sale. Hardback and trade paperback books $2 Mass market paperback books 50¢ Media for adults $2 ALL children's materials 25¢ New additions every day! Rare and Collectible Books Click to discover additional donated books - more valuable than those being offered in the Collector's Corner for sale on eBay. Prices are still below market value. Find a gem in the Collector's Corner in the Friends Store These collectables are individually priced between $5 and $40 for adults and $2 - $5 for children's books. Find rare, signed, and first editions many of which are out of print. All are priced below current rates for books of equal quality being sold on the Internet. The Always Open Annex located in the Customer Service area has a selection of materials for adults, teens, and children available for purchase. Shop here when the Friends Store is closed. Donations

Book and media donations will be accepted by the Friends beginning August, 1, 2010,
in preparation for our Annual October Book Sale.

All the following materials are welcome, unless visibly falling apart, moldy, shredded, or otherwise too damaged to use.
If you are in doubt, please include them and we will make the determination.
The Library sorts donations for possible additions to the permanent collection then passes materials along to the Friends.
The Friends pass along donations to other non-profit and educational institutions and programs within the City at no cost.
If you're sending personal items to our troops, stop in. We'll add to your box of goodies at no cost.

Books -- all kinds, any subject, fiction , non-fiction, hard cover, paperback, especially recent paperback fiction and children’s books.
Music and books on tape - CD and DVD format ONLY please
Recent encyclopedias, dictionaries and other reference materials, including computer programs and manuals and (please, not more than 3 years old)
Foreign language materials
Art and photography books.
All vintage materials that may have collectible appeal.

We do NOT accept used textbooks or magazines

Where should I bring my donations?

Donations can be dropped in totable bags or boxes at the Friends Store or the Circulation Desk of the Library.
If you have a large load, please come to the loading dock off Palm Street. Ring the bell and someone will come to help you unload.

noon to 5 pm

Volunteer so the store can always be open when the library is open.
